Saturday January 17th New England MMA fans will have to make up there minds, head to Plymouth, Ma for Reality Fighting’s “Apocalypse” or head to Worcester, Ma for the debut of CFX. Either way you should be guaranteed to see a good show, unfortunately for fans you can only be in one place at one time. On one hand, you have Reality Fighting run by Kipp Kollar, which makes it’s home at Plymouth Memorial Hall, arguably the most fan friendly venue in New England. What you won’t get at a Reality event is great production. No projection screen and the fighter entrances are just your basic ‘walk through the crowd’ entrance. What you will get is a great night of fights and the most talented mixed martial artists on the South Shore.
The CFX will be making there debut at the Worcester Palladium. CFX’s promoter Linda Shields has done a terrific job marketing this event, spending more time searching for “ring girls” than any other promotion EVER!! They’ll be no excuses if these aren’t the best looking ring girls in all of New England MMA. Shields has no doubt spent a tremendous amount of time letting everyone know about this event, which can’t be said about some of her competitors. The match-maker for CFX is Mike Varner, if you go to local shows you undoubtedly know or have at least seen Varner. This should be a plus for CFX because if anyone knows the local talent it’s Varner.
