Friday June 5th, the AFO makes it’s way back to the Sheraton in Braintree, Ma. Highlighting this event will be AFO’s undefeated (8-0) featherweight champ Ken Stone. Stone who fights out of South Shore Sportfighting in Rockland, Ma will take on New Jersey’s Ring of Combat veteran Jason Mclean. This may be the one opponent Stone has faced that can match his wrestling, as Mclean was a div.3 wrestler in college. This looks to be Stone’s toughest challenge to date.
In other action, Tim O’connell, fresh of a win over Franlin Isabel takes on SSSF’s Justin Burrell. O’connell will be moving up to 170 to face Burrell. Quincy, Ma native Maurice McNeil will do battle with Doomsday’s Perry Pierre in what should be a slugfest. In the lone female fight of the night, Korina Goselin goes up against Shannon Harney. I don’t know if it’s because they feel as though they have something to prove? But the Girls always seem to put on great toe-to-toe fights! Let’s hope this is no different. Also featured on the card making his pro debut, will be fan favorite Brian Marino.
